	Our Mission: To raise Mecklenburg community awareness by educating the public about abused and neglected children issues and the benefits of Guardian ad Litem program; to recruit volunteers for the Guardian ad Litem program; and to support and promote the work of Guardians as they advocate for children.

	The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research.
	The LFA was incorporated as a nonprofit agency in 1977. The purpose of the LFA is to assist local chapters in their efforts to provide supportive services to individuals living with lupus, to educate the public about lupus, to assist in advocacy programs, and to support research into the causes and cure of lupus.
	Tristan's Quest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which receives gifts and grants and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and adolescents with emotional/behavioral challenges and their families through public and professional education, family support, and direct services.
